Isizwe Chartered Accountants cc was formed by Maqhinga Zulu and Andrè Horn in 2002, who were both the employees of KPMG Johannesburg by then. Andrè Horn has since resigned to pursue other business interests.

The business was formed to provide fresh look into the market. Both partners believed that it was possible to provide excellent service whilst maintaining good relations with clients.

Isizwe has grown significantly since its inception. It has currently a staff compliment of 14 people, and it is expected that this number would triple before end of 2009. Isizwe now has significant presence in public sector, NGOs, mining and services industries.
